A documentary movie, "Home”, will premiere at KIST on Friday, from 4.30p.m, thanks to Institut Français au Rwanda, the Association Rwandaise des Ecologistes and ARECO-RWANDA NZIZA."Home” is a popular 2009 documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The film is almost entirely composed of aerial shots of more than 50 countries on Earth. It shows the extraordinary diversity and beauty of life on Earth and how humanity is threatening the fragile ecological balance of our planet."Home” has been translated in over 15 languages; the project to translate it to Kinyarwanda was coordinated by ARECO, with the support of IFR.The Association Rwandaise des Ecologistes, established in 1991, is a non-profit-making association operating in the area of environmental protection and local development. The Institut français au Rwanda is promoting French language and culture exchange with a focus on arts, multimedia and environment. IFR supports several local projects aimed at improving education, boosting cultural structures and creating new networks. Organisers are inviting people to join this event to promote the protection of our home planet, Earth. The movie premiere will be followed by open discussions.
