Musanze—An assistant manager of Rwanda National Bank’s Musanze branch has disappeared with $28,740 from the bank.

Karime Munyerango is reported to have swindled the money when the manager left him on duty after leaving offices.

Regional police commander Faustin Ntiruswa said that the investigations were still underway but Munyerango was being heavily sought by the police.

It is alleged that he had been illegally using the money to transact businesses.

The branch bank manager has declined to comment on the matter.
