THE national athletics coach Jean Pierre Ndacyayisenga is optimistic ahead of the IAAF World Road Running championships set for this Saturday in Karvana, Bulgaria.Ndacyayisenga, who accompanied the national team which left last night for Karvana, is optimistic in his team’s performance but is aware of the threat posed by athletes from such countries as Uganda, Eritrea and Ethiopia, who are regarded as favourites."We have assembled a very good team and they are ready for the challenge owing to the fact that they have shown much resilience in training and we all hope for the best,” added Ndacyayisenga.The team, which is comprised of Robert Kajuga, Cyriaque Ndayikengurukiye, Sylvain Rukundo and Jean Marie Vianney Uwajeneza, is expected in Karvana today.
