Oct. 10Botswana vs. RwandaOct. 13Namibia vs. Rwanda  NAMIBIA’S Brave Warriors will start preparations for an international friendly match against Rwanda on Friday according to head coach Bernard Kaanjuka.Namibia host Rwanda in a Fifa international friendly match on October 13 at Windhoek independence Stadium.According to Kaanjuka, the game will be crucial for his team as they prepare for vital games next year."We are playing Malawi next year in the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifiers and we need all the games we can get to keep our players together and also there will be the CHAN competition for our local-based players, so the Rwanda games will be a blessing,” said Kaanjuka.The coach said the training squad list will be released on Thursday morning after the mid-week premier league game between Tigers and Tura Magic."You have to give everyone a fair chance but on Friday we will start with training and later on as the days get by, the professionals based in Thailand and South Africa will join up with the squad and play on October 13”.Asked about what he knows about the Rwanda team, Kaanjuka said he does not know much about them and he surely expects a tough game."I only know that they draw at home 0-0 against Nigeria and lost away from home in Nigeria… I have seen two videos of their youth teams online. They are a quality side”, explained Kaanjuka.The two nations will meet again in Kigali on November 1 as Namibia prepares for her next 2014 FIFA world Cup qualifier match against Malawi on March 22.The local based players will be facing the Seychelles in the CAF Nations Championship (CHAN) 2014 qualifiers, starting with the away leg in June 2013 and the second leg at home in July 2013. The 2014 CAF Nations Championship will be hosted by South Africa.Rwanda will first play Botswana on October 10 before arriving in Windhoek on October 11 to play the Brave Warriors on Saturday October 13.The junior wasps will be using the two matches to prepare for their Cecafa Challenge tournament slated in Uganda and the next 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali on March 22, 2013.
