Best performers in the International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) at Green Hills Academy were last Friday rewarded by the school. The students who sat for the examinations in May and June saw four of them scoring grade A in six subjects.
The awardees included Ian Elvis Manzi, Su Chan Kim, Nelson Ndahiro and Davis Baraka Njoroge. Others were John Christian, Abhilash Ravichandran, Linda Umwali, Calvin Kayonga and Shema Frank.
Speaking to The New Times, Elvis Manzi attributed his performance to guidance from teachers and parents as well as his own time management.
"I realized that reading only when examination time is around the corner is the worst thing to do, reading must be done earlier,” Manzi said.
