A while back, during an important meeting, my partner called – every time I disconnected the call, she’d call right back! It went on for such a ridiculously long time that I was tempted to switch off my phone. Besides the fact that text messages exist, I couldn’t understand why she refused to realise that I wasn’t in a position to speak to her at the time. The moment I got out of the meeting, I called her up, and to my utter annoyance she said, "I miss your voice.” Okay, good gesture as it was, it still didn’t justify her constant calls even when I kept disconnecting them.The worst part is that women get mad when a guy doesn’t answer their call.  However, let’s be honest, after realising that all she wanted was to say sweet nothings during an important meeting, not picking the call was for the best. Relationships are great but you have to give each other some breathing space. It’s sweet that you want to be with your guy every minute, but it’s not healthy for the relationship. It’s important to give your man space so that the relationship thrives with not just intimacy but independence too.
