They show up late for everything, class, lunch, church service and so many other things – even parties! Such people cause friction when it comes to teamwork, like group discussions. They are not able to finish their own work in time because they do not start on time. They sometimes choose to finish it in a hurry or simply procrastinate. Thus, work isn’t given the 100% effort it needs because they are always juggling multiple tasks due to poor time management. On a daily, all you accomplish is stress. However, a punctual individual who values time does not have to rush through anything and will always be at the top of their game. Time wasted does not come back. As you grow older, all you will have is regret for not making good use of your time and opportunities. It is not difficult to be punctual. All you need is a reliable clock and a determined mind. Plan your day – noting down your activities for the day and when you are supposed to get to them is a great way to manage time. Every evening before going to bed, spend 5 minutes planning the next day’s activities/to- do-list. It is better to avoid staying up late in the night unnecessarily. Sleep at a decent hour in order to wake up early and start the day on time. A punctual person will always be successful in their endeavors. The writer is a 17-year- old teenager
