MIDFIELDER Jean Baptist Mugiraneza aka Migi believes APR’s new-look team will continue to hold the club’s flag high despite most of the players lacking enough experience at the highest level.One of the club’s most senior players, Mugiraneza, who missed the start of the season with an ankle injury, made his first appearance of the season on Saturday in the 1-1 draw against Police FC.The Amavubi midfielder is convinced the current team, young and inexperienced as it is, is in good position to achieve better things than the last lot because young players are more hungry for success and to establish themselves at the highest level possible.Migi, 25, says this is the best time for the new-look team to gel and be more competitive and is confident about APR’s chances of retaining the league."With the team, we all love each other, we speak the same language, and share jokes unlike in the past when most players cared only about themselves,” the midfielder told Times Sport.He added, "We are working more together as unit than before, which makes us a more competitive team and I hope with this new policy we will achieve more than previous years.”The Amavubi midfielder noted, "We are looking good. We look really organised and with time of playing together, we will be stronger and more experienced.”"It will take some time because we have new players coming in and we are building a new team. Yes we have lost some big names too but now we are happy with the young players, who have come in,” said former SC Kiyovu midfielder.
