Last week the local stock market, Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE), rose on the basis of volume of shares traded compared to a week earlier, according to a weekly report.The total turnover for last week was Rwf117,562,300 from 320,800 BK shares and 180,800 Bralirwa shares traded in 34 deals compared to the previous week’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf58,180,700 from 386,100 BK shares; 17,300 Bralirwa shares and 5,300 KCB shares traded in 28 deals.On Friday the bourse recorded a turnover of Rwf2,399,000 on Friday, lower that Thursday trading session. BK counter recorded three transactions of 2,300 shares which traded at Rwf130 whereas Bralirwa counter registered one transaction of 5,000 shares that were traded at Rwf420. On Thursday the market had registered a total turnover of Rwf67,940,300 from 27,900 BK shares and 153,200 Bralirwa shares traded in 10 deals.Both BK and Bralirwa share closed at Rwf130 and Rwf420 respectively. KCB share price remained at Rwf154 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf1,200.At the end of formal trading hours, there was an outstanding bid of 1,999,500 BK shares at Rwf130 and outstanding offers of 225,000 shares between Rwf131 and Rwf132. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 72,100 shares between Rwf 386 and Rwf 418 and no outstanding offers.
