Editor,Reference is made to the story, titled "The 50 year-old who joined secondary school” (The Sunday Times, September 30). It was reported that Celestin Nzabandora of Gatsibo District, enrolled for Senior Three at Rwikiniro secondary school, after staying out of school for over 30 years. In the story, Nzabandora, with three children, talks about how he dropped out of school in the 1980s, and how he’s trying to adapt to school environment. For some, it might look awkward for a man to go school with children young enough to become his children. But the truth is that in a few years, Nzabandora will complete education and acquire a new status in society.Adults who did not have a chance to go to school should borrow a leaf from Nzabandora and boldly pursue their childhood dreams.Jean d’Amour Ngayaberura,Rwamagana
