Should REAL men go for a spa treatment?

My primary school teachers used to say "bubble gum will make you poor” and I always wondered what they meant. So I just ignored them and insisted on buying as much gum as I could and made what a cow does to cud look like a rumour. As it turned out, although I had pockets full of gum every day, I constantly found myself without money for lunch- and since nobody can satisfy hunger with gum, I was extremely hungry most of my early school life.Had I saved those coins rather than waste them on gum, I would have been able to buy lunch not just for me but also for my other starved friends- and I think that is what the teachers meant.Moral of the story is - don’t waste your money on useless goods and services, spa treatment for men being at the top of the list. Spa treatments including full body massages, mani-pedi’s and body waxing, are to me, things that people should not waste money on.An individual can do these things on their own without spending a single Franc. All you have to do is visit a shop and buy a little set of gadgets, including, a nice little nail-cutter to use every time your nails grow, instead of visiting salons to have them cut by someone else. Women may be excused because they need professionals to help make them look all cute and young, but why a man would go for that that stuff beats my understanding.Sometimes, I go to the salon for a haircut and find men with their legs and hands dipped in basins of hot water, smiling from ear to ear in anticipation. Why don’t they just order a facial, and then ask for foundation, some lip-gloss and mascara too? This is the single most embarrassing and girly thing a man can ever do. And it’s not only embarrassing for the one getting a mani-pedi, but for me too, the one who has to watch that!A real man would keep that money and buy and install a new sound system in his car or save it to clear a mortgage loan.If such men were little kids in my primary class, my teachers would certainly have told them that spa treatment will make them not only poor, but leave them at the bottom of the wretched society.A guy who does it regularly, chances are he is gay! What’s wrong with being gay? That’s a topic for another day.
