Why should other people make decisions for you?

If you are as observant as I am, then you know by now that there is more drama in the world than on television soaps. If you got the amount of drama in the lives of some people I know and put it on television as a soap opera –it would win an Emmy! I am speaking of lovers and their annoying fights. Wait, who said it is okay for you to blubber your stupid problems to people that couldn’t care less whether you are single or not? I mean we have our own problems to take care of, do not assume the world rotates around you.I was totally devastated when some weak girl came into the salon and started speaking of how she can’t make up her mind on whether she should date Steve or Ivan.Just try to imagine the pain of three women braiding your hair and as if intentionally, always attaching a braid at the same time! Like as if that is not enough there is someone in the same room speaking absolute rubbish. With all the pain and the rubbish I was listening to, I couldn’t help myself and just like that, I threw up in the presence of all those people. That stupid girl is to blame. I have so many single friends who would kill for half a man, and here is this girl asking frustrated women, possibly single to help her choose. Apparently Ivan is not treating her well so she wants to give Steven a chance. Oh wait! she also has Bosco, who is very helpful financially. At the mention of the name Bosco, I was reminded of Anne Robinson’s favourite line "You are the weakest link! Goodbye!” Not that I remembered it and kept quiet, I was inclined to shout and tell the weakling to shut up and because she seemed like she was bragging about how the entire male population is chasing after her, the other girls in the salon were very much on my side. They hurled insults at her and we reminded her that if she wants to make decisions about her men, there is only one place to check- her heart. She left the place giving me those threatening eyes- little did she know that I have received awards for my skills in eye giving.
