October 13Namibia vs. RwandaNATIONAL football team coach Milutin Sredojovic Micho has ruled out any possibility of Amavubi Stars playing Kenya and South Africa in friendly matches in October.Micho told Times Sport yesterday that they had plans to play both nations since they had agreed a friendly with Namibia."We made an initial request to play Kenya but their response did not come fast enough and we could not wait for them to come up with final decision since no decisive agreement was made at the most important time,” he said."South Africa requested a friendly match with Amavubi when we had already made an arrangement with Namibia. So we can’t breach our agreement with Namibia but we may consider playing against South Africa in the future,” added Micho.Kenya, through Harambee Stars coach Henri Michel, hinted the possibility of playing against Rwanda in November while South Africa had proposed two friendly matches with Amavubi Stars on October 10 and 15.Amavubi play Namibia in two international friendly matches on October 13 in Windhoek and November 11 in Kigali. Amavubi will be using the two matches to prepare for their Cecafa Challenge tournament due in Uganda as well as the next 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali on March 22.Namibia is ranked 115th in the world and 33rd in Africa while Rwanda is placed on 120th and 35th in the Coca Cola-Fifa monthly ranking of September.
