Losing start for Silverbacks in Safaricom 7s

Captain Lucien Bikamba scored a try and a conversion with vice captain Vincent Kamali and Otim Allan scoring a try a piece.In the second game, Rwanda lost to Kenya 7-40. The first half had ended 7-7 with Eli Mana scoring a try which was converted by captain Bikamba.In the third game of the pool, Rwanda was thoroughly beaten by Uganda Cranes 0-35.However, in the schools’ tournament, a Rwanda select side topped their group after winning three of its four matches on Friday. On Saturday, they beat a Nairobi select side to reach the final where they lost to Kenya’s Kakamega 24-5. Rwanda’s try was scored by Donat Kanyamahanga.
