Shares on Rwanda Stock exchange (RSE) continued to rise yesterday. Shares in Rwanda’s biggest beverage company, Bralirwa rose to Rwf416, the highest since its listing.
Shares on Rwanda Stock exchange (RSE) continued to rise yesterday. Shares in Rwanda’s biggest beverage company, Bralirwa rose to Rwf416, the highest since its listing. RSE said in a report that the total turnover for the day was Rwf4, 571,700 from 20,800 BK shares and 4,500 Bralirwa shares, which were traded in six deals compared to Thursday trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf18, 007,500 from 131,500 BK shares and 1,100 Bralirwa shares as well as 3,000 KCB shares traded in seven deals.BK shares traded and closed at Rwf130, unchanged from Thursday’s closing price while Bralirwa shares traded between Rwf411 and Rwf416 and closed at Rwf416, an increase of Rwf5 compared to Thursday’s closing price. KCB shares remained at Rwf154 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf1,200.At the end of formal trading hours, there was an outstanding bid of 1,300,000 BK shares at Rwf130 and outstanding offers of 181,600 shares between Rwf131 and Rwf132. On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 265,900 shares between Rwf370 and Rwf407 and no outstanding offers and there was an outstanding bid of 3,000 KCB shares at Rwf150.This week the RSE market went down in traded volumes and turnover compared to last week’s trading session. The total turnover for this week was Rwf58, 180,700 from 386,100 BK shares and 17,300 Bralirwa shares traded in 28 deals compared to last week’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf66, 786,200 from 436,100 BK shares and 25,900 Bralirwa shares traded in 22 deals.The bond market remained silent as no deals were recorded
