Next weekend, Lake Kivu Serena Hotel in Rubavu (Gisenyi) will be the mother of all parties with a party dubbed, ‘Kigali goes to the beach’ that will go on throughout the weekend.If you make it to this beautiful town, a host of DJs, including Nruff, Protégé (Nairobi), Afshon, Karim, Napp Fizz (Kigali) and Beekay (Kampala) will entertain you. Remember to book your hotel earlier. They are storming the town with 20,000 watts of pure sound and lighting. Accommodation at the Kivu Serena has also been cut.Since 1997, Earthdance is held annually in over 500 locations in 80 countries.Earthdance International, along with organizers of large and small events throughout the world, has coordinated the annual Global Festival for Peace.In August 2012, Rwanda joined the movement when Earthdance Kigali was founded and we are gearing up for the biggest event here.Each year thousands of people participate in hundreds of events and gatherings, which benefit local charities supporting peace, sustainability and social justice.
