Q: Who is Pius?

A:  I was born Pius Rickie Rukabuza in 1986 in Mbarara in Uganda. I Went to Lycee de Kigali for my A-level; I’m currently pursuing a law degree at Kigali Independent University. I’m a little reserved but also very humble.Q: Why did you choose a career in music?  Is your family into music? A: There isn’t a day I didn’t love music. I was the schools’ entertainment prefect and a serious DJ by the time I was in S3. It’s in my blood. My family doesn’t share my passion for music. What inspired me the most was listening to radio DJ’s like Alex Ndawula of Capital fm Uganda. Q: How long have been spinning discs and who is your favorite DJ?A:  It’s now close to 8 years since I started seriously playing music.  My Favourite international DJ is Jazzy Jeff - he’s such a talented guy who clearly loves what he does.Q: Tell us about your band.  A: Two 4 Real was born two years ago. We have six singles and two videos to our name and are currently shooting the third.Q: Who is your all time favorite musician? A: Hands down, I love and admire R. Kelly more than anyone in the industry. Q: Should your fans expect anything from you? A: We are releasing a new album (From Grass to Grace) early next yearand are planning collaborations with many local and regional artists. We already have a collabo with General Ozzy from Zambia and are planning to feature two other artists from Uganda.Q: Any massage to your Two 4 Real fans? A: My message to our fans is to be ready for the best music they ever heard. If there is one thing I’m good at, it’s being a professional and that means giving ours fans the music they deserve – great quality music. I ask that they keep supporting us in every way that they can because we won’t let them down.

I also humbly ask them to join our group on Facebook Two 4real, and follow us on Twitter @Two 4real.
