R&B singer, Mani Martin, has abruptly suspended his third and fourth album launch which was scheduled for September 23 at Kigali Serena hotel.The singer said that he decided to suspend the launch because of a mission he simply could not miss in Boston, USA."I will be leaving for Boston where I am scheduled to perform at the "Rwanda Day” event. Therefore, I am forced to cancel my launch and pray that my fans will understand the situation,” he told The New Times shortly before he left.The "Rwanda Day” event in Boston, Massachusetts, has attracted Rwandans and friends of Rwanda from Europe and North America. President Paul Kagame is expected to grace the event which starts today."I will mainly perform songs that do not only unite us as Rwandans, but songs that also encourage us to work together for the development of our country. We must support the Agaciro Development Fund,” he said. The event is being held under the theme "Agaciro, The Journey Continues”.Speaking about the suspended launch, Mani Martin said that he intends to launch the album but is only changing the date. "I will be back on Sunday but being a live performer, I cannot launch that day. I will launch the album next weekend, same place, same time,” he said.
