Rwanda Day in Mumbai? Not the Impossible Dream!Editor,I read with keen interest your lead story in yesterday’s issue of The New Times, titled "Excitement as Boston hosts Rwanda Day.”This is, indeed, a great initiative and it will help in showcasing to the people of North America and beyond, Rwanda as a New African Dawn.It will help in spreading the message which this great country gives to the world, that no matter what the challenges and difficulties of the past might have been, the resilient people of Rwanda will bounce back with renewed vigour and emerge victorious. That brings me to the question: "Rwanda Day in Mumbai?” "Well, this is definitely not the impossible dream. With the full support from the Indian Merchants’ Chamber, a Premier Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the country, a pro-active Rwanda High Commission in New Delhi and with the desired support from all concerned agencies in Kigali, we can surely look forward to welcoming President Paul Kagame to Mumbai, to celebrate Rwanda Day in the business capital of my country, India, which is constantly looking at enhancing Indo-Rwandan ties.Clarence Fernandesclavinmarketing@gmail.com
