SOUTHERN Province giants Mukura have offloaded four players to make way for new recruits ahead of the new season. The club’s secretary general Olivier Mulindahabi confirmed the development to TimeSport yesterday. "We couldn’t guarantee them playing time and we needed players who can bring something new to the team to match with the club’s ambitions in the upcoming season,” added Mulindahabi.Players who were released include Gad Mwizerwa, Yves Nsengiyumva, and Burundian duo of Eric Niyizigama and Patrice Uwiringiyimana.Mukura recently signed young players, namely; Regis Twagizimana, Pacifique Munyangondo, Frank Nkotanyi and Ezekial Gahunda.Others are Pappy Hassan Habimana, Jackson Nkurikiye, Diaredo Kalisa, Deo Hagenimana and Cameroonian born Bertrand Yossa from Espoir.Mulindahabi said they need to recruit three more players before the league starts on Saturday.Mukura open their league campaign against AS Kigali on Sunday.
