Habiyambere, currently undergoing intensive training won last year’s first leg of the circuit against compatriot Jean Claude Gasigwa before losing the second leg to the latter."I have prepared thoroughly for this year’s event. I am hoping to perform well and win the Kigali circuit”"I am looking forward to the event. I want to put up a good show,” added Habiyambere, who is Rwanda’s third top player, according to last month’s rankings.Meanwhile, Uganda’s teenage sensation David Oringa has confirmed participation in the week-long event. After failing at the final hurdle of the seventh edition of the Simba Cement Open International Tennis title in Tanzania, over the weekend, Oringa wants to make amends in next week’s tournament."I want to put up a better show and win in Kigali,” Oringa told the local press. The youngster took $750 dollars after losing 6-0, 6-2 to Zambia’s Edgar Kazembe in the men’s final at Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club on Sunday.Oringa defeated Rwanda’s top seed Jean Claude Gasigwa 6-3 6-3 in the semi final.The Kigali money circuit is expected to attract over 40 players from Africa and Europe.Gasigwa is the defending champion after winning the last edition, beating Kenya’s Dennis Ochieng 6-2, 6-2 in the final US$800 in prize money.In the women category, Kenya’s Caroline Odour avenged her first leg defeat by trouncing home favourite Gisele Umumararungu in the final 6-0, 6-2.
