I wake up at around 5 a.m. As a video library operator, I first set up my radio and start listening to the latest hits, which enables me to give my clients an updated service. Good enough, our country has now come up with local private radios that helps us get all we need with the latest music. I do this for about 45 minutes and then I spend some 30 minutes watching movies so that I’m properly up to date. We are always competing to bring the best to our clients and make them love our services. Without them the business would be lost.

At about 6.30, I go for shower and after have my breakfast of hot milk and bread. But before this, there is always a prayer moment. I belong to seventh day Adventist Church and put first all my endeavors in God’s hands.
We all believe that God is the creator of all things and you simply can’t achieve anything without him. I have always been advising my fellow friends in the same field, but still there is a long way to go. Working in this field by no means you can’t also engage with Church activities.
My breakfast winds up at 7a.m. It only takes me 30 minutes to reach my job on foot. Arriving at work, I first check on my watchman who gives me the office equipment before leaving.
Before starting work, I also first test whether my systems are mechanically fit and well set. I really settle down to work at about 8. The business atmosphere is quite boring here during morning hours; clients don’t visit us at this time. They normally start flocking when it comes to midday.
Honestly speaking, this business is seasonal. This comes in a way that mostly students are our daily clients so when it’s term time, we experience a short deficit. All most 90% of our visitors here are youth and they go for the lastest music and movies.
The older generation only come here looking for documentaries and country music like that of Donn Williams. My eventful morning stops at 1p.m, when I take a short break and join a nearby restaurant for lunch. I take my favorite dish which is chips and rice, with a cold bottle of soda, and relax while playing pool table with my friends and exchanging ideas about tomorrow.
After relaxing for one hour, I go back to my library and start hunting evening bread. Afternoon hours are busier. This is when many working class are off work, looking for latest movies and music to wile away the hours. I believe this is the job that pay my way until I find greener pastures.
A around 8p.m, I start winding up and close my library, preparing things for the next day. I arrive at home by 9p.m, take a shower and watch TV while waiting for my supper. After a moment of prayer I hit the sack at 10.30.
