Today Semi finalsKiyovu     vs     Mukura    2pmRayon Sport     vs     Amagaju    4pmAmagaju’s reward for their win over APR in the last round is a meeting with Rayon Sport in the semi finals of the ‘Agaciro Development Fund’ tournament this afternoon at Amahoro stadium.The Southern Province outfit shocked last season’s league and cup winners 4-2 on penalties on Friday after a goalless draw in normal time at Stade de Kigali.Amagaju vs Rayon clash will be preceded by the first semi final of the day that pits Baptiste Kayiranga’s SC Kiyovu against Mukura, who are coached by Emmanuel Ruremesha at Amahoro stadium at 2pm.Rayon qualified for the semi finals after beating AS Kigali 1-0 courtesy of Jerome Sina’s second half strike on Thursday while SC Kiyovu beat La Jeunesse by the same goal margin.In the other matches played on Thursday, Police, who finished second in the Primus National Football League and reached the Peace Cup final, were knocked out of the tournament 7-8 on penalties after a goalless draw against Musanze. In Nyanza, Mukura won 10-9 on penalties following another goalless draw against newly promoted Muhanga FC on Thursday. All the teams are using the tournament as part of their respective preseason training ahead of the new season which gets underway next weekend.Gate collections from all matches will go into the ‘Agaciro Development Fund’, which was created last month as a home-grown initiative to help accelerate national development.
