On the 25th of this month, Rwanda Professional Dreamers (RPD) will unveil a three year strategic plan that will involve various activities - an event that will take place at Kigali Serena hotel.RPD is a group of young talented artists working together to strengthen their skills to promote artistic and cultural work in the country.Speaking on behalf of the group, artist, Moise Mutangana said that among other projects, he will be launching his first album called "Mumataha” as well."The album comprises of ten songs in both Kinyarwanda and French. The general objective of my music is to promote the Rwandan culture so that the young generation can uphold it,” Mutangana said.The day the project is unveiled, there will be a live band concert featuring Alif Naaba, a renowned musician from Burkina Faso. Entrance fee will be Rwf 5000 and Rwf 10, 000 for VIP.Before the event, Alif Naaba will stage a performance at the Grand Auditorium in Huye, an event sponsored by Goethe Institute.During that time, the group will also publish The Book of Life. In this book, writers focus on what happened during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, including testimonies by the survivors, among other things.The group will also shoot 100 videos for their songs, with a play telling the Rwandan story. It’s core objective is to promote a culture of joy and happiness.The group is sponsored by the National Commission for the Fight against Genocide, Kalaos Media, Institute Francais and Guerrand-Hermes Foundation for Peace.Others include Kigali Serena Hotel and Sulfo Rwanda, among others.
