Be fair to mining companies
Editor,I would like to tell Michael Biryabarema (Head, Department of Geology and Mines) that most of these guys (mining firms) are good, they are also taking risks, they are sinking in their money. Work with them candidly, show them your fears, open up to them, and build mutual trust, not mutual suspicion.

No one wants to invest their money, mortgage a mine, put all his time, and then disappear.Your performance will be measured by ventures that succeed, not those that fail or go under the drain because it is by that that our economy will grow.Fred, Rwinkwavu(Reaction to the story titled, "Mining firms contest new prospecting period” – The New Times, September 14)
