Congolese must be in charge of their country

Editor, I would like to thank you Sunny Ntayombya for the well-written article, “The international community will not come to DRC’s rescue. Because it can’t”.  Very good journalism with humor” (The New Times, September 12).

I don’t understand how the Congolese leaders, especially President Joseph Kabila, can be happy with having international troops on their soil. When will they learn how to change their own diapers? Maybe to hear that UN peacekeepers are in their country is something to brag about with their heads high!Michael Rwiyamilira, US
