News reaching us is that the Rwanda National Office of Tourism (ORTPN) is busier preparing for another extraordinary event to baptise baby mountain gorillas. The ceremony scheduled for 21st June, will be held in Kinigi, in the northern part of the country.
According to scouts, the occasion will also provide the office an opportunity to launch the Sabyinyo Community Lodge.

2Dove Joe finds love
Rising Rwanda star, 2Dove Joe (Joel Karemera), known for his love of children, has fallen in love.
"I have found my new love bird,” says the singer. The lucky woman is Diana Muteteri, the artist best known for her APR song. The pair are blissfully happy and planning to wed.
The two musicians fell in love last year while in Ugandan studios and they have already brought an offspring to the yet-to-be-family, nine month year old Kheria "Junior Joe” Umunyana 2Dove Joe explains that things have not been easy. Malicious rumours have been circulated to break the lovers apart.
Rising above such nonsense, 2Dove Joe says the most important is his legacy of music to all children in Rwanda. The star intends to start with his family and some of the children in his neighborhood.
"I want to help all children to be what they want be…it is only a matter of grooming them.” Always one the keep his plate full 2Dove Joe is also about the release a new single.
Coga Style to open dancehall
Latest from our local entertainment industry has it that Coga Style, aka Rafiki Mazimpaka, is soon to launch an African dancehall, comprised of a crew of local artistes, dancers and a band.
Snoops reveal that the entertainment dancehall to be launched in September aims to encourage and support young talented musicians.
It is also rumored that local vocalists like the Trinity, Prince Kid, and Holy Jah Doves have supported Mazimpaka’s idea and that they are ready to cooperate with the songster.
A reliable source also has it that, even regional musicians, the likes of Chameleone from Uganda, Tanzania’s most celebrated rapper Professor J along with Choka Mbaya have also supported the idea and will be present to bless the launch of the dancehall.
