Our very own paparazzo, Linda Mbabazi, on Sunday, tied the knot with her long time boyfriend, Edmund Kagire of the Nation Media Group.The proud groom, a former TNT employee, married the radiant bride at the Green Hills Academy hall after a Gusaba ceremony held at her home in Kibagabaga. The wedding mass, which began at 3pm and presided over by Bishop Nathan Gasatura of Butare Diocese, was a joyful occasion. Kagire wore a stylish black tuxedo while Linda wore the customary shimmering, all-white gown. The wedding reception, which was graced by the Who’s Who in the Rwanda media fraternity, was also attended by stars including Kamichi, Uncle Austin and Mani Martin. Mani Martin did a live performance at the Gusaba while Uncle Austin performed at the reception.After the reception, the newly married couple and the wedding party made their way to a lavish dinner at the Woodland Hotel in Kimironko in black limousines. Afterwards, the couple spent the rest of the night dancing joyfully with family and friends at the swanky K-Club nightspot in Nyarutarama. ‘I loved the way they blended the theme colours and how the whole place was so romantically decorated. As a close friend to both      the bride and groom, it was a very happy day for me as well. I cannot see two people more made for each other,” said a guest who preferred anonymity. The couple is currently away on their honeymoon at a destination that they have kept a total secret.
