We must steer clear of complacency

Editor,The achievement attained by Rwandans over the last eighteen years cannot be sneered at, not even by Kigali’s detractors. The writing is on the wall for everybody to see.
I urge all Rwandans to double their efforts and achieve even more. The achievement we have hitherto made should not be a cause for complacency. Let our actions speak for us. We want to reduce poverty among the people in rural areas. The country’s home-grown initiatives like Gacaca, Umuganda, Itorero, as well as the Unity and Reconciliation drive have worked and must be embraced by all Rwandans.Fred Buteera, Kampala
