The national volleyball league will start next month and so will the Carres d’As, according to a top official in Rwanda Volleyball Federation.The federation’s Executive Secretary Gertrude Kubwimana confirmed that the Carre d’As tournament, which brings together the top four teams in both the men and women’s categories, will be held next month after sponsors Soras agreed to release sponsorship funds.However, Kubwimana did not reveal the exact date for the two-day tournament but said the league will start soon after. She stated that Rwanda is keen to follow the Confederation Africaine de Volleyball (CAVB) calendar."We have not set the date but I can confirm that Carre d’As tournament will be held next month and the league will also start afterwards,” she stated. Last year APR won the men’s league title while Rwanda Revenue Authority were champions of the women’s league.
