It was all joy and excitement for Dina Nyirabanyiginya, a shop attendant in Kicukiro District, as MTN-Rwanda handed over another brand new car when she emerged the second winner in the ongoing promotion dubbed "Sharama”.In the event that took place in Gakingiro, Gasabo District, the 23 year old was handed the keys to a brand new car worth Rwf 14 million."I cannot express how I feel because this is beyond my wildest dreams. I feel larger than life,” said a tearful Nyirabanyiginya .She explained that even though she did not have enough money to send as many messages as she wanted to, she sacrificed what she had, loaded her phone and sent messages to MTN.To enter the draw, one is required to use an MTN line to send a text message to 155. The more entries one sends, the higher the chances of becoming a winner. Each message costs Rwf 35."I am a shop attendant who just helps my elder sister run her art and crafts business; I have been doing this for over three years now,” she said.This is the second car MTN has given out in the draw that will see three of its clients own cars. Last month, Savio Uwumukiza, a high school student at St Justin College Nkanka in Rusizi District won the first car.The third and last car will be given to a lucky winner on the 25th of this month. The event will coincide with the company`s fourteenth anniversary.During Tuesday`s event, many other winners walked away with lots of prizes that included mattresses, mobile phones, motorcycles, laptops, bicycles while others received cash prizes worth Rwf 50,000.Alain Numa, MTN`s Sponsorship and Promotion coordinator said that Rwf 90 million has so far been used since the promotion began.
