AN annual festival of disabled sport will take place in London’s Olympic Park as part of a £2 million investment in a Paralympic legacy.The Paralympics end on Sunday as Coldplay headline the closing ceremony that will bring down the curtain on the 11-day sporting spectacle, but the park will reopen from July 2013 - and the annual festival will become a regular event on the East London site.The London Legacy Development Corporation, who are responsible for the site which will be renamed the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park after the Games, have pledged the money as part of a £292 million programme that will also include new housing, public spaces, sporting venues and job opportunities for disabled people.Daniel Moylan, chairman of the LLDC, promised "opportunities for everyone”, claiming that thousands of people will get involved in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
