The mega worship concert dubbed ‘Gathering of 1000 worship concert’ by renowned gospel duo James and Daniella has been postponed to Sunday, June 4. The venue however remains at the Kigali Convention Center.
The event which aims at bringing believers closer to their savior Jesus Christ and widely praise his love, according to organisers, was postponed due to unavoidable circumstances beyond their control.
"Although the date and time of the concert has changed, there will be no changes to the other provisions previously announced. Sunday will be an extraordinary moment to praise our Heavenly Father for everyone. We will proclaim the victory of our salvation. We apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused by these changes. For anyone who has already paid their tickets but is not available on Sunday, they can contact us for a refund before Sunday,” they announced.
In a recent interview with The New Times, James Rugarama revealed that the overall goal of the evening is to proclaim the victory of our salvation and to think deeply about God’s love with the 1,000 people who will attend the evening.
Referring to the verse in Matthew 18: 20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them,” Rugarama believes that each person will experience God’s presence.
"We will sing of the goodness of God in the same Spirit. It’s time to reflect personally on the love of God and proclaim it in a special extended way,” he added.
