Fall fashion trends

Well folks, it seems the weather has turned on us early this year! The air is chillier, the skies more grey, and we’ve already had some of those beautiful torrential storms that can only be found in Rwanda. Can it be that the rainy season is upon us? With this in mind, I put my summer dresses toward the back of my closet and brought forth the sweaters and jackets.

Fortunately, the runways in New York and Milan have given us some great pieces that are easily wearable. The Peacoat: perfect for Rwanda - protects against rain and is not too heavy. Another benefit; this classic jacket is a wise investment - they never go out of style! Navy blue is in trend this season, but black or khaki always work too!The big, cozy Sweater: who doesn’t love curling up in one of these? Tracy Reese’s Fall line made a statement with chunky knits in bold, bright colors - definitely goes well with a Kigali backdrop!
