I was with my girlfriend for over two years and never gave her reason to doubt me. However, what surprised me was that not a second went by without her calling and asking about my whereabouts. She wasn’t comfortable with me being friends with her friends or meeting other girls in her absence. In the beginning, I confused it for affection but it got out of hand after sometime because I am a person who likes interacting with other people irrespective of their sex. However, she kept getting angry with me and complaining about me chilling with other girls. It’s extremely irritating the way some of the women I’ve dated think that being with other girls automatically means I’m cheating! If you don’t trust your man well enough to be comfortable with him being around friends then surely you should move on to the next man who will allow you to dictate who they hang around with. A man shouldn’t switch his friends just because he has a girlfriend. And it is even more annoying when in truth, he isn’t doing anything wrong.
