APR defender cum midfielder Bebeto Lwamba has joined newly promoted Musanze FC after signing a one year deal. Head coach Hussein Baraka confirmed the news of Bebeto’s signing on Monday in a phone interview with Times Sport and believes that the DR Congo-born player will be a good asset for his team in the upcoming season.

Head coach Hussein Baraka confirmed the news of Bebeto’s signing on Monday in a phone interview with Times Sport and believes that the DR Congo-born player will be a good asset for his team in the upcoming season."Bebeto is a good player, with vast experience, who has played for big teams, so I hope his experience will do well for the young players,” said Baraka.Musanze have already signed other experienced players including, Ugandan veterans Charles Kawuma, Alimansi Kadogo both from Police FC, Omar Hitimana from Uganda’s Express FC, Jean Shyaka, Rodriguez Murengezi and Egide Chai, all from SC Kiyovu.The coach added, "We have added a good number of experienced players, who we believe can help the team stay in this division.”SC Kiyovu left back Simon Nyamugenda is also expected to sign for the Musanze-based outfit today.The national football league is scheduled to kick off on September 15.
