Children praying to God. Net photo.

While she brushes her newly coffed hairWhile he charges and admires his new phone rareWhile she giggles with girlfriendsWhile he jokes and boastfully pretendsWhile the sun brightly shinesWhile she snuggles in her new warm bedWhile he nestles on the velvet couch his headWhile she soaks in the bubbling tubWhile he runs to the sport clubWhile the sun still risesWhile she sadly prays for a new coatWhile he cries at his dads left noteWhile she tugs at her mismatched outfitWhile he chokes back his embarassmentWhile the cloulds again buildWhile she hides her lonely tearsWhile he musters his saddened fearsWhile she cradles her younger sisterWhile he lies lovingly to his ill brotherWhile the rain clouds are formingWhile she searches for foodWhile he lacks of a decent moodWhile she cries out in her sleepWhile his thoughts are way too deepThe rains of life still flowsEach humble of heart? Each humble of thoughts? While children grow, no two are the sameWhile children cry, not one is in vain
