HERMAS Cliff Muvunyi may win Rwanda’s first silverware in tonight’s Paralympic Games after he set up a new Paralympic and African record in the preliminary round of the men's 400m T46 category 49.75 today at the Olympic stadium in London.Muvunyi running in heat two snatched a best time of 49.75 to first in the overall standings.He beat Dena Pathirannehelag of Sri Lanka and Gunther Matzinger of Austria who finished in second and third overall positions with personal best time of 49.82 and 49.91 respectively.The 24-year old athlete who won gold in 400m and silver medal in 800m during last year’s All Africa games competes in the finals due at 21.54 hours local time.
