Editor,This is with reference to an article in the  issue of last The Sunday Times issue titled " Innovative projects in education to receive funding.”The education sector, for any developing economy, is of great importance. The effective way in which the Government of Rwanda has focused on quality education and has launched various programmes and projects, be it at the primary level, secondary level or even with higher learning, is indeed commendable.The ‘one-laptop-per-child scheme’ for example is exemplary and inculcates in the minds of our young students the need to develop their skills in ICT.In today’s fast developing world, innovation is the key word and the fact that innovative projects in education will receive funding clearly point to the Government’s strong focus on quality education.Clarence Fernandesclavinmarketing@gmail.com
