The ‘Goin’ Back to Indiana: Can You Feel It’ four-day tribute to Michael Jackson continued today in honour of what would have been his 54th birthday yesterday.  The King Of Pop’s daughter Paris Jackson showed off her athletic skills as she took to the baseball field with brothers Prince Michael Jackson I, 15, and Blanket, 10.The trio attended the St. Paul Saints Vs.The Gary SouthShore RailCats baseball game at the U.S. Steel Yard in the late pop star’s hometown of Gary, Indiana.Dressed in a RailCats baseball shirt, tiny Daisy Dukes and a pair of black leather Doc Martens, Paris threw the first pitch of the game. Looking extremely tall and slender in her attire, the teenager looked a natural at the sport. The blue-eyed brunette beamed during the event and greeted some of the players. The 14-year-old cuddled up to her brothers, who also wore honourary team kits which they received during the evening. Michael’s children also posed for a snap with their aunt LaToya and the Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson.If things had been different, Paris and her siblings would have spent this week helping their beloved father celebrate his 54th birthday. But three years on from Michael’s tragic death they are instead remembering him with their trip to his hometown. As well as La Toya, the trio have been joined by their co-guardians, grandmother Katherine Jackson and cousin TJ Jackson.Yesterday, Paris tweeted a picture of herself next to one of her father, writing: ‘Happy birthday daddy. I love you with all my heart, always and forever<33.’A candlelight tribute to the Beat It hitmaker – who died in June 2009 aged 50 – was also held outside his boyhood home at 2300 Jackson Street.Fans danced to Jackson’s music prior to the arrival of his children and mother at the house where Michael, his siblings and their parents lived until 1969.In the days after Jackson’s death in 2009, the singer’s admirers piled stuffed animals, flowers and photos outside the tiny home.Among those at the Wednesday night vigil was Andrei Tejada, 32, a Chicago veterinary technician student who said she was pleased that Jackson’s relatives were attending the event. They still remember where they started, and it shows they appreciate where they started. It’s a humbling experience to know they are here,’ said Tejada, who said she visits the Jackson childhood home once a month.‘Goin’ Back to Indiana: Can You Feel It’ will take place until Saturday.Karen Freeman-Wilson, the Mayor of Gary, will host a special dinner tomorrow night to commemorate the life of the King of Pop as well as honour Michael’s mother Katherine, and a tribute concert will take place on Saturday at the local West Side Theatre Guild.dailymail.co.uk
