Jean Claude Ntirivunwa, a Rwanda Commercial Bank client on Monday happily walked home with a free Sharp Mega TV set worth Frw300, 000.

He is the 1001st ‘Cash Plus’ customer, the number the marketing manager BCR Hannington Namara said was secretly chosen to reward.

Monday morning, Ntirivugwa received a call from BCR informing him to come and pick his prize.

"I was so surprised and happy but also overwhelmed because I thought it was a tiny prize but I found that it was a huge TV set,” he said.

Ntirivugwa, an employee of SOCOBICO, is a BCR customer with the "Cash Plus” product that was recently introduced.
