Cleaning up a room can sometime seem to be a daunting task even when it is not. I like a tidy room, but once in a while, my room gets messy when I have been too busy to pay any attention to it.Recently when going to work in the morning, I was irked when I could not find my belt. I tried looking for it where I last left it two weeks ago and could not get it; i had to change to another outfit so as not to get to work late. The incident was a wakeup call to re-organize my room and get things neatly arranged for more space, but also for ease of access as well.Under-Bed Drawers My bed does not have under bed drawers, but I made use of some old metal box I had somewhere in the house. After cleaning the metal box, I neatly arranged all the spare bed sheets, quilts and covers and everything else that I do use on a daily basis. Closed the metal box and pushed it gently under the bed it fitted perfectly. My wardrobe was left with lots of space to arrange my clothes.Jewellery Storage I am one of those people who cannot bring myself to throwing things away.  I have lots of orphaned teacups and saucers that I have kept away for manyday. These I learned can be perfect vessels for sorting out misplaced jewellery.You can arrange the tea cups and the saucers to your liking on your vanity table, or in a drawer. Sort your jewellery accordingly and place like items in one place. For example gold earrings can be placed on one saucer and silver earrings in a teacup. This way it will be easy for you to locate and bringany of your jewellery when you need it.Open Laundry Bag Make use of every space you have in your room. If you do not have a place where you can put a laundry basket, worry not. Use a hanging laundry bag that saves floor space. This bag can be placed behind your bathroom door or suspended on o hook on one corner in your room. Just make sure this bag does not make your room look untidy and does not get on your way. Otherwise it’s a perfect choice for small space.Multi-purpose Rack If you have no wardrobe, you can make use of a multi-purpose rack. This rack can be custom made. One side of the rack, there is a provision to hang your clothes, at the same time it has a few partitions where folded t-shirts and jeans can be kept. On the other side you can hang your bags, and beneath you can arrange your shoes. This rack has in the middle a tie and belt rack, where you can hang your beltsand ties neatly and have ease of access.Whether you room is large or small, the truth of the matter is that if you cannot organize your room you will not be able to find anything you are looking for; more so in the mornings when going to work. Remember that your room is also your haven, where you find peace and tranquility when resting from a hard day. If you cannot find anything you are looking for in your room, just know that it is a telltale sign that it is time to re-organize your room.
