Everything about this place screams class! LAND STAR HOTEL is located in Remera directly opposite ICTR offices, less than 100 meters from the Amahoro stadium and about 15 minutes drive from Kigali Central Business District. Although this hotel seems to be an ideal venue for guests who are on business trips, it can also be an answer to locals who needs a home away from home experience. The moment you enter, the door behind you seems to shut out the hustle and bustle of Kismenti and engulf you with a fresh, noise free environment. The smiles of their waitresses, calms your spirits. On our visit, there were just a handful of people relaxing, some enjoying some cold drinks and coffee. We choose to sit out in the gardens where the waitress brought us a neat menu card.You see, menu cards say a lot about the place and their services, the moment you notice a dirty worn out menu card, if you are brave enough to go ahead and order only hope for a miracle.We ordered for Papiot de tilapia (strips of tilapia served in a bed of lettuce  with roast potatoes  and tartar  sauce at Rwf 5000, two other friends opted for Kuku choma, a full chicken grilled on charcoal and busted with barbecue marinade and they billed  it at only Rwf7000. As we waited for our orders, though it took a little longer to arrive, it was worth the wait.
