Dear editor,

Thinking about the violence in Johannesburg is disheartening. The treatment of the Zimbabwean immigrants in such a manner is so unfair.

More so it is their fellow black brothers who are doing these unbelievable atrocities. These South Africans should not forget that not so long ago they were also badly treated during the apartheid regime.

Their background should instead give them the courage to give a helping hand to their neighbors who are going through a difficult time.
