Rwandan women and posh cars

Lately, many of my male friends are so concerned about the classy and sophisticated cars Rwandan women drive. Well, truth be told, I have also noticed; Rwandan women have very expensive rides compared to the men. As a woman, l am filled with joy seeing a fellow lady seated confidently behind the wheel and cruising it like she made it; at breakneck speed on top of that.  Ages ago, women were just passengers in cars driven by men and the few who had cars, had weak ones that couldn’t survive on a road with potholes. There’s been a shift in trends now, women have taken over and many are driving cars which leave men drooling in awe, with widely open eyes.

Lately, many of my male friends are so concerned about the classy and sophisticated cars Rwandan women drive. Well, truth be told, I have also noticed; Rwandan women have very expensive rides compared to the men.As a woman, l am filled with joy seeing a fellow lady seated confidently behind the wheel and cruising it like she made it; at breakneck speed on top of that.  Ages ago, women were just passengers in cars driven by men and the few who had cars, had weak ones that couldn’t survive on a road with potholes. There’s been a shift in trends now, women have taken over and many are driving cars which leave men drooling in awe, with widely open eyes. However, l was recently provoked to assure some of these men who think that most of the women with posh cars get them through immoral and fraudulent ways.Among those that triggered me to give some of these men my piece of my mind is that women first sleep with rich men in order to get their classy cars.Honestly some of these men are still living in the 70’s.I am even thinking more women should be driving these posh cars reason being, women love exclusive things and if they have the money, they are willing to spend a fortune on that Lamborghini Reventon or a Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren. If the women work and earn some very good bucks, where do these men get the audacity to accuse them of carrying out acts of prostitution in order to get these cars??Well, back in the day you would be forgiven for making such statements in this century. I will borrow a line from a famous Nigerian song; ‘what a man can do, a woman can do’. I hope you get this in your heads this time.Women are so empowered, especially here in Rwanda; they can do anything they set out to do including taking up big leadership positions, owning massive and powerful businesses and building those MTV like mansions without necessarily having to first sleep around with some man who thinks he is Bill Gates.Maybe there could be those few cases of women who have had to first pay in kind to own those cars.Well,I dont know of any because for most, its been through their sweat and hard work.Just because a few who have gotten nice things the immoral way shouldn’t be reason enough to judge all the other women this way.Just for emphasis Square(a male musician by the way) sung that what a man can do, a woman can do…..if he would have the privilege of doing a collabo with me on this song, I would include owning posh cars too.
