Other teams which qualified from Group A include hosts Mozambique and Tunisia.In group B, Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and Angola qualified for the last eight with Gabon and Morocco facing eliminations.After a 62-34 victory over hosts Mozambique in the opening game, the junior hoops team, making its debut appearance in the continental showpiece, lost their next three games in a row.Nenad Amanovic’s young troops have suffered back to back defeats against Tunisia (38-43) on Friday; 33-47 against Mali on Saturday and 43-48 against Ghana on Monday.The team who went to Mozambique with an intention of reaching the quarter finals have their hopes set on only one alternative of winning the classification match against Nothern Africans giants Morocco and Gabon respectively.In a related development, Rwanda’s Espoir thrashed Uganda’s 72-56 Fiba Africa Zone V Club Championships which started on Monday in Kampala.
