Denzel Washington has joined those paying tribute to Tony Scott.Washington - who collaborated with Scott on five movies - described the late film director as a "genuine friend”."Tony Scott was a great director, a genuine friend and it is unfathomable to think that he is now gone,” Washington told E! Online."He had a tremendous passion for life and for the art of filmmaking and was able to share this passion with all of us through his cinematic brilliance. My family sends their prayers and deepest condolences to the entire Scott family.”Scott directed Washington in ‘Crimson Tide’, ‘Déjà Vu’, ‘Man on Fire’, the 2009 remake of ‘The Taking of Pelham 123’ and ‘Unstoppable’.The ‘Top Gun’ director was found dead on Sunday (August 19) and is believed to have taken his own life by jumping from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles. He was 68. E! News
