Editor,I was glad to learn that several entrepreneurs, educationalists and technological experts from various parts of the world will convene in Kigali next month to attend the Rwanda International Conference on Technology in Education (RICTE).I believe this conference is a very good opportunity for Rwandans to showcase our achievements in the use of technology which has helped transform the economy.While I recommend the government for promoting ICT, use of technology should be extended to rural areas. Farmers need to be trained on how to use technology to increase their produce. I believe  it is necessary because though many people may have ICT skills already, the majority of people do not. Also, everything should be made possible to ensure that the young generation benefits from ICT. I know Rwanda will emerge as a strong ICT hub in the near future.Innocent MugishaRemera
