Ndahiro (Rwa) 6-1, 6-3  RWANDA’s trio of Ernest Habiyambere, Bryan Ndahiro and Fabrice Tuyishime suffered shock semi final defeats in the third leg of the ITF/CAT 14 and Under African junior circuit which ends today at Cercle Sportif Rugunga, Kigali City.Top seed Habiyambere, who was seeking to add  the third leg title to the first two legs he won in Bujumbura last week, was beaten by Burundian Saidi Nkurunziza in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 7-6.Nkurunziza was in no mood to suffer a second loss at the hands of Habiyambere, sealing his place in today’s final. The pair met a week ago in Bujumbura at the same stage with the Rwandan winning 6-3, 6-2.Fellow Burundian Shaban Kabula beat his compatriot Shaban Kasalo three games into the contest when the later retired with an injured ankle with the score (1-1; 40-30).In the girls’ category, Mariam Mujawamariya (Bur) ejected Rwanda’s Olive Tuyisenge 6-1, 6-1 to book a place in the final against Sandra Nahimana (Bur), who beat compatriot Saada Niyonkuru 6-0, 3-6, 6-1.In the Under-12 category, Shaban Kabura beat Rwanda’s Fabrice Tuyisenge 6-1, 6-3 to set up another all-Burundian final against Jonathan Mugisha, who saw off Rwanda’s Bryana Ndahiro 6-1, 6-3.The tournament ends today with each player snatching points towards their African rankings.
