Editor,It was around this time, last year, when The New Times reported that the Indian community in Rwanda conducted a Blood Donation Camp in Kigali. In fact, that was for the first time ever, such a camp was held in the city. This was part of the activities centered around India’s Independence Day. The programme was well received and helped in strengthening Indo-Rwandan ties.In addition to the activities being conducted by the local Indian community in Rwanda, the noted Homeopath, Dr Sejal Sanghavi, M.D. (Homeopathy) will be in Rwanda on Sunday, 19 August, 2012. I am happy to see that the relationship between Rwanda and India improves day by day.I am aware that while in Kigali, Dr Sanghavi, who has successfully treated thousands of people from different countries, with various kinds of ailments, will offer free consultations to Rwandans. She will also deliver a talk on "Homeopathy – an elegant way of healing” at a seminar organised by the Rwanda Development Board. It is my firm belief that Dr Sanghavi’s visit and her medical expertise in the field of Modern Homeopathy would help the people of Rwanda and strengthen further Indo-Rwandan relations.Clarence Fernandes
